Each month BreedersUSA selects a dog breeder to be Breeder of the Month. The selection for this award is the responsibility of Daniel Hect who is well aware of what it takes to be successful dog breeder. The Coastline dogs are bred with care given to all the features mentioned in the breed standard, including character. Beyond seeking to breed dogs of good health and excellence, I follow my own desire in trying to breed beautiful dogs. From the Coastline’s very first breeding it has distinguished itself. Igor, a solo puppy from the first Coastline breeding remains in 2009, the only tawny bred briard in North America in thirty years to win selection at the French Elverage
