Their name leads you to believe they originated in Japan , actually they are from Korea . They are lively and charming little dogs. Standing only 7-11 inches and weighing only up to 9 pounds. Small children need to be careful with this dog. A daily walk or playtime is plenty of exercise. Brushing the coat daily is recommended.
