The Yorkie is a big dog in a little dog’s body. They are brave, loyal and energetic. They are affectionate with their masters and do well with older children. The Yorkie is a good watchdog but can become snappish if frightened or teased. Over all they are very sweet and loving. Both genders will stand 6-7 inches and weigh around 7 pounds. Their small size makes them great pets for an apartment. They will get all the exercise they need with regular indoor play. Have the Yorkie groomed regularly.
