You have met our "Tag", still happily doing chores at age 12. This is his niece, Dual Champion Artisan Northern Night ROM ROMH - "Rowan" - collecting our sheep. We have three of her sons; Ch. Artisan Jacob (black & white, OFA Excellent), Ch. Artisan Night Hawk HSAs - "Fire" - (brown & white, OFA Good), and Ch. Artisan Pastoral Victory HXAs - "Vic" - (brown & white, OFA Good). We also have her half-sister Ch. Artisan Tequila Sunrise HSAs - "Quill" - (brown & white, OFA Good). In addition, there is "Mr. Bean" - Ch. Tailwind Artisan Avalanche HXAs (brown & white, OFA Good), co-bred and co-owned with Keitha Smith; grandson of our cover dog "Boone" and Jacob's sire. Another addition is our youngster Chetcote Ebony Artisan HT - "Sean" - from Canada.

Rather than keeping large numbers of Beardies here, we co-own many of the best with others, who can enjoy the dogs, while keeping access to them for the occasional litter. We believe that, in general, Beardies are very much "people dogs" and should live in a home with people who love them rather than being allocated to a kennel. Most are brought to the Farm for herding training, although many have been "real" farm dogs at their own homes, managing their own flocks of sheep.
